Alliances
Computer hardware and software advance the capabilities of the DICE test bed. Manufacturers donate hardware or software products to expand the DICE test bed capabilities and demonstrate the features and functionality of these products to end users. Some of the DICE program's alliances include:

| Force-10 | The Force-10 family of Ethernet switching and switch/routing platforms provide industry-leading density and carrier-grade reliability products. Force-10 has been a long time supporter of the DICE program. They have loaned equipment to facilitate DICE evaluation projects. |
| Microsoft | Microsoft has loaned the DICE program HPC server licenses so when a product is evaluated in the DICE test bed, we can compare and contrast across multiple operating systems. |
| ViON Corporation | ViON, an enterprise storage and systems expert, has loaned the DICE program equipment and expertise so we can research alternatives to enhance data movement in large scale data situations. |
