How You Can Participate

The DICE team takes pride in collaborating and partnering with the greater high performance computing (HPC) and information technology (IT) community. To stay abreast of technological advances and challenges, DICE teams with government agencies, businesses of all sizes and universities to provide our clients the most innovative and comprehensive services and expertise.

The environment has changed and so too must our approach. Driven by advancements in computing technologies, more sophisticated models and increasingly complex analysis, the computing challenges have exploded in size and complexity from data management challenges to power and cooling efficiencies and more.   The community must discover new technologies and rapidly transform discoveries into validated, trusted high-value solutions. DICE – the Data Intensive Computing Environment – was created to address these very issues.

We welcome you to help change the environment with us.

Doing Business with DICE

Contract with DICE

DICE research, test and evaluation project contracts are available to both vendors and government agencies.  Clients have access to the DICE test bed and a wide range of research and evaluation services.

Invest in a New DICE Site

The DICE program is always interested in working with federal and state agencies and industry interested in becoming a node on the DICE test bed. The node could be focused on computation, data or networking. The idea of the DICE test bed is to create an environment that replicates, as much as possible typical HPC and IT data centers.

Provide In-kind Contributions

Computer vendors – hardware and software - are encouraged to consider donating or loaning products for the DICE test bed. The DICE team will work with the vendor and the DICE Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) to ensure community expectations and requirements are met and provide the additional equipment or software in the proper fashion.
