Proposal Assessment

Proposals are reviewed by the DICE team who defines the scope of DICE projects and provide overall management expertise.

The key assessment criteria includes:

• The proposal addresses one of the challenge areas
• Higher prioritized challenge areas will rank higher
• An assessment that the proposed project can be completed within the proposed time schedule
• An assessment that the proposed project can be completed within the proposed budget
• The ability of the proposed project to demonstrate that the time required for locating, accessing, viewing, manipulating, moving, sharing, storing and interpretation of large data stets is improved
• Projects that propose an intern will be awarded additional points during the evaluation process.
