Avetec Begins Construction at Nextedge

Local non-profit research organization Avetec has selected Sidney-based Ferguson Construction Co. to build its state-of-the-art headquarters building at the Nextedge Applied Research and Development Park in Springfield. The company started construction on the second building at the park today.

Twenty-five 8th grade students from 10 Clark County middle schools took part in the SPLASH (Springfield's Planning Leadership-Avetec's Seventh Grade Heroes) program by presenting their ideas for Springfield.
