11/06/07

Avetec's Data Intensive Computing Environment (DICE) will exhibit at the supercomputing industry's most notable event, SC07 in Reno, Nevada November 12-15, 2007 in hopes to identify and build collaboration between industry, government and academia that supports the organization's mission to improve American competitiveness. The DICE Program exhibit is located in Booth #3203 in the Research area of the show and will be easily accessible to the conference’s 7,000-plus attendees.

The DICE Program's goal is to become the recognized leader in data management through unbiased evaluations and objective reporting of new or emerging technology solutions. The DICE Program is speeding “time to solution” for complex interdisciplinary and engineering problems and strengthening American competitiveness by improving the methods, efficiency and validity of data management processes in high performance computing.

The focus of the SC07 exhibit will be to explain how Data Management is creating a performance bottleneck in high performance computing and how Avetec’s Data Intensive Computing Environment (DICE) is working to change the shape of data management today and for the long-term.

Over the long-term, the DICE Program will improve the baseline architecture to enable technology advancements in HPC data management, ultimately improving time to solution and strengthening American competitiveness
