Dayton/Miami Valley TechFest 2009

The seventh annual Dayton/Miami Valley TechFest will be held Saturday and Sunday, February 14-15 at Sinclair Community College in the David Ponitz Center. 

Avetec will participate in this free event, hosted by the Affiliate Societies Council of the Miami Valley.  The mission of TechFest is to get K-12 students interested in and excited about the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) through hands-on exhibits and entertaining presentations.

Teacher workshops will also be offered on Saturday for ideas on how to include engaging STEM activities in the classroom.
